The Triad and The Black Spot

It seems like every week the crew of Pirate Master talks about Mutiny and every week they say "we're closer than we've ever been". Apparently not, because they didn't mutiny...they never do! Last night's twist would have been awesome if it weren't for a blunder on Jon's part. Jon, who is my favorite player made a major mistake. He didn't guard the key with his life! Let me back up...the players that were set adrift came back to be the "Ghost Crew" and everyone on the ship was the "Black Crew" including Capt. Azmyth and his officers. The Ghost Crew was ahead of the Black Crew because the Black Crew didn't know which way was east, even with the compass. However, the key that was obtained on the first part of the expedition was dropped by Jon and he didn't know it. The minute he got that key he either should have clutched onto it for dear life or asked someone else to take it. So they had to double-back and start looking for it in the river where he dropped it. And of course, once again the Black Crew won and Capt. Azmyth remains in charge with the rest of the Triad.

Everyone on the crew bitches and moans about "Az" and his officers (The Triad), but they don't do anything about it. I can't believe the Ben and Jay really think they will have a chance of winning if they keep the Triad going. Azmyth is getting more powerful and he is making bad decisions. One of those came during the Black Spot ceremony. See, the crew has been talking about mutiny and they approached Jupiter (who hasn't been on board for mutiny at all). Jupiter then called them all out at dinner and told The Triad all about it. The Triad mistakenly believed that Jupiter wanted the mutiny because she was talking in the third person about how the crew is not happy and wants mutiny. They thought that was her way of saying that she was leading the mutiny. So The Triad decided to give her a black spot. Well, the rest of the crew who were voting thought that was a great idea because if Jupiter won't mutiny then they can't get Az out of the captain's chair.

Just when I thought I was going to be so happy, they turn on me again and vote out Jupiter! All the talk is just talk and this is quickly getting B O R I N G! My sick desire to watch reality shows keeps me watching it hoping that Mark Burnett has some twist that is going to totally rock my socks, and last night's twist almost did it, but he is going to have to come up with something much much better. For now I'll stay addicted to Big Brother and Big Brother After Dark. Those are worth losing the sleep over.
